Stroud Liberal DemocratsLiberal Democrat business minister Jenny Willott will make Cabinet history this week, when she will become the first Liberal Democrat woman to sit at the Cabinet table.
Jenny will take her seat in Cabinet on Tuesday, when she makes a presentation on the coalition government's moves to close the gender pay gap.
In an interview with the Independent Jenny said:
"This is a really exciting opportunity to tackle an issue I'm passionate about at the very heart of government.
"I'm looking forward to sitting around the Cabinet table to promote longstanding Liberal Democrat priorities such as making workplaces more family-friendly and closing the gender pay gap."
Jenny is currently covering the position of Business and Equalities minister while Jo Swinson is on maternity leave.
