Stroud Liberal DemocratsPeople living in the north can have their say on how to boost the regional economy, when Nick Clegg launches the Northern Futures Project today.
Nick is calling on leaders, residents and business owners in the north of England to put forward their ideas on how to create economic growth in the north.

Liberal Democrats in government have already made good progress in increasing investment in the north but we want to go further in creating growth and we want to hear from the people who matter.
Nick said: "We've also got to be realistic that the best ideas aren't going to come from Whitehall. Nobody knows more about what local economies need than the people who actually live and work day in and day out in the communities themselves."
Ideas should be e-mailed to northernfutures@cabinet-office.x.gsi.gov.uk and will be debated at an economic summit in the autumn.
