The Tories are talking about a 'flat tax' system - where everyone pays the same rate of tax regardless of income - and Labour are talking about being in favour of a 15% 'death tax'.

Thanks to Lib Dems in Government, the rich are paying more tax than at any other time under the Labour Government. Lib Dems have also given a £700 tax cut to 24 million people, which will increase to £800 in 2015.

Lib Dem Chief Secretary to the Treasury Danny Alexander, has introduced a series of measures to make tax more fair including clawing back £9 billion from tax dodgers and we are campaigning to create a Mansion Tax on the value of properties worth over £2 million.
