Stroud Liberal DemocratsI have huge ambitions for our party. I'm 32 and prepared to fight for our values for the next 50 years. We must re-build our local government base following the damage of recent years, and the fight starts now.
As we're in government now and could be again after May, we need a President who is independent of the parliamentary party and leadership, as I would be.
We need a campaigner and a reformer: as a Parliamentary Candidate, I built and led a team to achieve an 8% swing against a 1% national average and jointly won the 2010 Penhaligon Award for engaging members.
I'm a party trainer and mentor dedicated to nurturing new talent, and I've campaigned successfully in non-target and held seats. I also have first-hand experience of many parts of our party.
Having been elected to the Party's Federal Executive and ALDC Management Committee, I have a clear agenda for party reform and the passion and drive to deliver it.
I'm also a 'go to' LibDem for the media and have secured positive coverage for my Presidential campaign in the Sunday Times and the Independent.
The next few months will be challenging but they also represent an unrivalled opportunity: as President, I would help lay the foundations for a Liberal Revival.
