Prioritising NHS spending in the Autumn Statement

Liberal Democrat health minister Norman Lamb has been leading the calls for NHS funding to be an Autumn Statement priority.

Today George Osborne is reportedly pledging £2bn for NHS spending - this follows calls from Lamb to make it an autumn statement priority.

Liberal Democrats have been leading the campaign for extra funding in the NHS including extra funding for mental health care, particularly for children and young people.
